30 books for ONE classroom This donation will provide one classroom in rural Nepal 30 culturally relevant books. What a beautiful way to open up a child's world through the gift of books! |

15 selected books for ONE classroom This donation will provide one classroom 15 books. They will be selected to reflect the variety of books that we are giving each classroom. A good start to building a library for one preschool. |

3 PiSL Original Books We currently have story-lines for 3 new books. These are stories Nepali children can relate to and will be written in both English and Nepali. We hope to find creative illustrators who will volunteer to design and illustrate the stories. Each book will cost about $20 to publish. 4 Modified Books Although there are many wonderful preschool books used in the states. It is difficult to use these books because they are often not relevant to the lives of children who live in rural Nepal and they are not written in Nepali. So, we have selected 4 classic preschool books with simple text which. We will provide the text in Nepali. Here's one example: Brown Bear, Brown Bear. |

2 Beautiful Wordless Books Wordless books don't need translation! These 2 books, The Lion and The Mouse and The Tortoise and the Hare, come alive with beautiful illustrations. |

6 Nepali "Big Books" We were lucky to find 6 age appropriate big books written in Nepali. They are fun because they are over-sized and perfect for reading to group of children. |

15 Nepali "Small Books" We found 15 small books in an educational bookstore in Kathmandu. Even though this store is the premier educational bookstore in Nepal, these 15 small books were the only ones available at a preschool level. |
